Biography

Genre: Pop/Rock
Members: Jeremy Ezell, Sean Crawford, Rex Crawford, Torin Degnats
Hometown: Atlanta, GA

With a blend of indelible hooks, soaring vocals and accessible songwriting, The Well Reds have crafted a sophisticated alternative pop-rock sound that resonates in listeners' ears long after the first play. Made up of Jeremy Ezell, Torin Degnats, and brothers Sean and Rex Crawford, the Atlanta-based quartet has become known for their infectious melodies and polished live performances, which landed the band a management deal with Bonded Entertainment earlier this year.

Since their inception in 2008, The Well Reds have shared bills with acts like Minus The Bear (Dangerbird Records), Automatic Love Letter (Epic), A Cursive Memory (Epic), Transmit Now (Silent Majority/Warner), Lights Resolve and The Friday Night Boys (Fueled by Ramen). They have also played a variety of festivals in the Southeast, and their rise in local prominence has led to sold-out shows in premiere music venues such as Eddie's Attic, Smith's Olde Bar and Hard Rock Cafe's Velvet Underground.

Although The Well Reds continue to garner national recognition beyond their Georgia roots, the well-dressed southern boys come with no pretense. The band's aim is to invest in people's lives by creating great music that fans can connect with. Their recently released EP Violet, produced by Zack Odom and Kenneth Mount (Cartel, Mayday Parade, All Time Low), has proven just that. Their song "6 More Months" climbed to the top of the charts on OurStage.com in early 2011, naming them the winners of the New Music Seminar competition, and the title track took third in the nationwide Subway Fresh Artist competition.

This fall, The Well Reds will be showcasing for the NACA Southeast and Mid America conferences, and fans can look forward to the release of live recordings from their summer performance at Eddie's Attic.
